One more portrait from Metsovo...The old lady, wearing her traditional local dress, after the Sunday mass went to the small fruit market of the town located just becides the main square, to buy grapes.
Serious face and spartan decorations on the dress are the main characteristics of this remarkable mountain people living high in Pindos mountains. Their lifes, especially in the harsh winters, is tough as they have to fight the hard nature elements.
Photo transformed in B&W. Light sepia toned in PS.

Her serious expression is great. The contrast between her old way of dressing and the modernity of the plastic bins and bag containing the fruit is very interesting to me. Including the street and the people behind her only intnesifies her look of severety and seriousness. Black and white is awesome here. The grapes look delicious.

A nice portrait, George. It works quite well in b/w, though it could be interesting in colors, too (I like to see the colors of the grapes). Nice shot.

Great capture, she looks like she come out of one of those living museums, but this real! Good choice of B&W to catch the mood of this timeless shot.

I can't believe this picture was taken only a few days ago and not 40 years ago. Good job Giorgo.
