Photographer’s Note

Early morning in the Venetian harbour of Rethimo in Crete. This harbour is called Venetian because it was built by the Venetians in 13th-century.

We were going to hiking in the hills and valleys and the day was very hot so we started early.

I seldom post here postcards but this could be one.

Hi Pentti,

I liked this postcard a lot. Calm water, boats at rest and empty tables makes this photo excellent. Beautiful colours and sharpness too.

nice view over this pictoresque corner of Greece. I like the natural colors and the reflections on the water are amazing. Nice job.
