Photographer’s Note

Hello TE friends,

Trip across lovely city Sissi continues. Today a photo of a church - it was located in one of narrow streets and not many people really noticed it.
Unfortunately there was no single info about this building. Maybe any of you could help?

Interesting architecture here with nice composition. The lighting and colors are fine with excellent sharpness and detail. The angle of the shot gives the scene nice depth and allows us to see more of the church.

Az podziw bierze, ze sie w takim stylu aktulnie buduje. Super kosciol, bardzo ciekawe elewacje z kamienia. Fajnie sie prezentuje na tle "greckiego" nieba.

No, fajne! Świetnie kontrastowe i soczyście kojojowe, jak mawia ma Córka. Podoba mi się barwa nieba i faktura muru... a czerwony dach do tego raczej nie pasuje. Szeroki obiektyw uczynił to ujęcie całkiem dynamicznym, choc nikt przez kadr nie przebiega... jak narazie ;)

Fotografía sobresaliente.

El encuadre es perfecto, la definicion tambien, pero lo que mas me llama la atención es el contraste de ese cielo degradado en azul, con ese material en tono gris de la iglesia.

Ładny kościół i jakis taki nietypowy. Wygląda na nowy, ale moge sie myliś. Nie byłam w Sissi i w Internecie tez nie znalazłam. D Bardzo ładny mur, ciekawa architektura. Pozdrawiam

This unknown church absolutely one of your best shots, perfect colours and sharpness and we can see whole the details of this beautiful architectures, and the superb blue sky just adds point to the picture. Great job Mikeo, thanks for showing this....

An amazing clarity of the image, super-fine-detailed depiction that uses top light well is excellent. Blue sky is also clear and beautiful indeed.

Wow, this is a beautiful curch! The texture of the walls seem interesting and its colours create good contrast against the blue sky. The details were properly catured and the colours add a more natural and pleasant look. Beautiful work Mikeo :-)

Widze , ze Szanowni Panstwo byli w Grecji. Przyznacie, ze kraj to niezwykły...Gdzie wyspy toną w błękitach, gdzie Bóg zapomniał o grudniu, gdzie ciągle dzwięczy muzyka.
Nawet gdybym w swojej wrodzonej zlosliwosci chcial napisac slowo krytyki, nie mam szans czepic sie czegokolwiek. Zdjecie jak z National Geographic (tak to sie pisze do diabla? ;)
Trzymajcie sie cieplutko dzieci!

Salve Mik,
I am by no means an expert in Greek architecture but what I can tell you is that ..the style does not look very classic for a Greek church.So it is either a modern reinterpretation or a foreign (byzantine?) construct.(but highly unlikely as it is in a marvelous state, no restoration could.. or could it?)
It certainly seems to have distinct late Roman/Italian features such as the bell tower and some local ones ,like the typical dome-roof with ogival windows, and rounded roofs.The style is pre-Gothic that is certain.
Nice colors..but a bit too vibrant in my opinion...a polarizer on that or just the way it happened?
