Photographer’s Note

Un peu d'humour en ce début de soirée..Le port de Chania (Hania)très souvent présenté pour son architecture typique et son phare. Ici ne trouvez-vous pas que l'on dirait que le bateau jaune et le phare sont en compétition dans une course à la vitesse??:-)

Hello Denise,

En voyant ce bateau, j'ai plutôt cru à un submersible. Il en a la couleur typique et la forme.
Un format panoramique dans lequel j'aurai plutôt placé les deux protagonistes sur la droite.

Bonsoir Denise,
Et voilà que le phare est en train de rattraper son retard, il va arriver à hauteur du bateau jaune avant de le dépasser et de laisser piteusement derrière; mais Sea Discoverer n'avait pas dit son dernier et ....Yellow Submarine, Yellow Submarine, Yellow Submarine

Bonjour, Denise. Un bateau qui me fais aussi penser à un sous-marin. Sa couleur jaune ressort bien sur l'eau et sur le mur du port. Chania, c'est aussi un bon souvenir avec un repas à une terrasse du port le jour de Pâques.

Bonsoir Denise,
Moi aussi j'ai tout de suite penser à Yellow Submarine en voyant cette image... et une rapide recherche sur Google m'a permis de découvrir qu'on ne se trompait qu'à moitié.
Le format panoramique convient bien à cette amusante juxtaposition du bateau et de la jetée.

Obviously the lighthouse!!! (:-
Trés jolie composition, simple but well balanced. The lighthouse with the jetty is very nice and interesting and the yellow boat a good eye catcher.
(by the way I've seen exactely the same yellow boat here in Sardinia which it's used for carring tourists and diving.)

Hello Denise. A witty observation and a good framing for this photo with the yellow boat passing in front of the lighthouse. Simple composition and the panoramic cropping enhances the graphical aspect of this moment.

looking at this picture, there was a song of great old "Beatles" in my mind, their song about a yellow submarine..

No I guess it is not but still a funny vessel, in special colour & design...
The situation is well seen and well recorded, good details and an attractive colour palette!

Not only humour, but also a very good picture.
I like this “yellow submarine” in front of the peer with its remarkable firehouse at the end.
I give the “submarine" the best chances.

Bonjour Muse,
un peu minimaliste cette photo. La fraicheur de la mer. Ce bateau jaune attire un peu le regard, je le croyais mal placé sur la photo, mais en lisant le commentaire, je comprends tout.
