Photographers Note
Hello dears,
Today another interesting person met in Crete...She was a guide in Chania, but not so boring you may mostly meet om many places...This older lady had so much energy you are not even able to imagine;)
Speaking a few languages, being able to answer all possible questions and...keeping rigour of a huge unryly group;) This is how she see the tourists...in her glassess;)
Enjoy the day;)
----------------------------------------------------
A lot of people claim that Chania is the most beautiful town on Crete and this could be true, but it's a matter of taste. It's true that the centre of the town is attractive and has a lot of character and history, both Turkish and Venetian, but because Chania is such a populair destination it can also get quite busy. I've seen it a couple of times about 25 to 30 years ago and as I could have expected, nowadays Chania is much busier and trying to get into or out of the town can ask for some patience because of the heavy traffic on some places. There are many stoplights and not so many signs giving directions, so it can get confusing. The newly build concrete buildings on the outskirts heavily contrast with the historic and beautiful centre of the town. If you only would have a helicopter that can land you in the heart of the old village.... If you manage to get through all the busy traffic you will find a really nice and interesting town though.

Cześć,
Piszecie o pani przewodnik w samych superlatywach a na zdjęciu wygląda na znudzoną. Śmieszny ma kolor wlosów, ale to pewnie wpływ tej parasolki. A odbicie w okularach zabawne. POzdrawiam

Hi Mik
Very clever POV and composition. Your notes are very interesting and explain the photo perfectly, what wonderful stories this woman could tell. Great capture of the crowd in her sunglasses.

Witajcie Mik i Eo
A tego waszego zdjęcia nie znam ... :-)
Ba ... nie znam nawet tej kobiety ... :-)

pozdrowienia,
Grzesiek

Hello,
you know, before I read a note I thought she is probably a local star, a Madam and people in her glasses a bunch of photographers trying to make the best photo of her. :) Of course I'm trying to locate you now... :)) Excellent shot, love hers a little annoyed expression and the world reflecting in her glasses. And of course the colours of background. Colours of Polish flag (upside down:) You always know how to amuse me. :)
My best regards,
Jeri

Hello Mik,
A formidable lady! You have made a strong portrait to match the character of this woman - with great colour and detail. The reflections in her sunglasses bring even more interest and sparkle to the image and the reflected colour from the red umbrella gives a great glow to the skin tone and hair.
Best wishes....Maggie

Hello All ;-)
Ta kobitka z opowiesci o energii to jakbym swoja Mame widziala. Wszyscy rycza ze smiechu a ona nawija jak Bielicka. Choc nie zna angielskiego gada do kazdego :-) i o dziwo kazdy ja rozumie. Fajna fotka i bardzo fajna idea z tym odbiciem w okularach.
Pozdrawiam

Hello M!
hehe, I like the humor of this photo...her face looks angry and all this red cast from her umbrella strengthens it even more. Really a good one!
warm regards
Maja
p.s. if she had red high heels would it solve all the problems? ;p
