View from mount Pachnes summit, a photo from Hania, Crete

Trek "Criques bleues et Montagnes Blanches
Day 13 : climbing the Pachnes

Here is the summit of mount Pachnes, the second highest mountain in Crete (2453 meters).
There is lot of (cold) wind there, but the view is beautiful.
On this panoramic picture (three pictures have been stitched), you can see the landscape facing to the north.

Un tel panorama a dû te rappeler ton trek dans le Haut-Atlas et l'ascension du Toubkal ! Pour une fois, les nuages ont déserté les sommets et sont restés en bord de mer...

a wonderful stitched image!
its almost like your on the moon or some other similar but different earth-like planet :)
its great too that you're lucky enough to have a bit of cloud to show off another color contrast.
great hiking effort pays off in the end!!

Bonjour Stéphane,

Pour être minéral, c'est minéral et sec!
Une bonne idée le traitement panoramique, je trouve que c'est bien approprié à ce type de paysage et en plus la composition est bien équilibrée avec le tout premier plan.

tres interessant trek avec des vues magnifiques. Je ne connais pas la crete. Toi aussi tu as du te regaler, et la mer n'etait pas loin ce qui est tout de meme eu plus tres appreciable en trek !
