Day 9 : around Agia Roumeli

While we are going back to Agia Roumeli, we choose to go down in the river to take a picture of this old bridge. The river flows in the Samaria gorges.

Good morning Stephane,
You have just posted very good quality photo. What strikes me first is the huge contrast between dark mountains in the background and light bridge in the foreground. That helps very much in my opinion to expose the main subject of the picture even more. Good light work - it is nice to see that despite bright sun the stones at the front are not particularly overburned. I like color management as well.
I am really glad the sky is not all cloudy and dark - there is some vivid blue in it and it livens up the image very much.

Hello Stephane,

Maybe a bridge of thousand year old, this in a wonderful area.
A wonderful panoramic view about these area with forest and mountains in background.
Very soft and real colors, excellent depth and perspective picture.

Superbe ce vieux pont , même s'il menace ruine . LA composition est extra , et j'aime beaucoup les montagnes couvertes de nuages menaçants en fond de décor .

L'arche de ce vieux pont est encore en excellent état ! Bonne gestion de la forte lumière, et bon angle de vue, avec la vallée encaissée à l'arrière-plan et le ciel menaçant !

Tu as bien fait d'immortaliser ce pont avant qu'il ne s'écroule. Comme tu le dis, il fait un excellent sujet photographique que ta composition et la lumière mettent bien en valeur.

Une belle image qui résume magnifiquement mes souvenirs que cette superbe île (et ses habitants très sympathiques).
Le contraste entre la lumière violente sur le pont et la quasi pénombre due aux nuages orageux est saisissant.
