Το χωριό παραλία Σεργούλας χτισμένο πάνω στις εκβολές ενός μικρού ποταμού, που εδώ σχηματίζουν ενα πλάγιο Μ, φωτογραφημένο από το παλαιό κάστρο στην Γλυφάδα

Παραλία Σεργούλας

Η αρχική ονομασία, επί Τουρκοκρατίας, ήταν «Μύλοι» λόγω των πολλών νερόμυλων που υπήρχαν στην περιοχή. Μετά την έξοδο του Μεσολογγίου στο μύλο – σπίτι του Παπαπολίτη φιλοξενήθηκε ο Κασομούλης, αγωνιστής και ιστοριογράφος, μαζί με άλλους πολεμιστές που είχαν διαφύγει με καΐκι προς τον Κορινθιακό κόλπο. Σήμερα ο επισκέπτης μπορεί να θαυμάσει το «κανάλι» του μύλου, που στηρίζεται σε αριστοτεχνικές καμάρες και περιβάλλεται από πλατάνια. Με πρόσφατη απόφαση της Εφορίας Αρχαιοτήτων Πατρών έχει χαρακτηρισθεί διατηρητέο κτίσμα.. Πριν μερικές δεκαετίες ονομάσθηκε «Κάμπος» και το οφείλει στο γεγονός ότι είναι κτισμένο σε μια μικρή πεδιάδα που την διασχίζει το ποτάμι «Πολισταύρι». Στην δεκαετία του 1930 λειτούργησε για πρώτη φορά το Δημοτικό Σχολείο και από τότε λειτουργεί συνέχεια.



Το χωριό σιγά σιγά μεγάλωνε και έφθασε σήμερα να έχει 220 κατοίκους, ταβέρνες, εστιατόρια, και τουριστικές επιχειρήσεις. Πολλά σπίτια χτίσθηκαν. Η φυσική ομορφιά το ατέλειωτο πράσινο, τα πελώρια πλατάνια, η καθαρή θάλασσα και οι όμορφες ακρογιαλιές είναι μαγνήτες και προσελκύουν χιλιάδες παραθεριστές.

Beach Sergoulas
The initial name, on Ottoman domination, was "Mills" because the a lot of watermills that existed in the region. Afterwards the exit of Mesologgi in the mill - home of Papapoliti was entertained the Kasomoulis, fighter and historiographer, with other warriors that had slipped with caique to the Corinthian gulf. Today the visitor can admire the "channel of" mill, that is surrounded from big trees.
With recent decision of Inland Revenue of Antiquities Patrases has been characterized preservable building.. Before certain decades was named "Plain" and him owes in the make that he is built in a small plain that him crosses the river "Polistavri".
In the decade 1930 functioned for first time the Municipal School and from then functions constantly. The village little by little you grow and it reached today it has 220 residents, taverns, restaurants, and tourist enterprises. A lot of houses were built. The natural beauty green, huge trees, the clean sea and beautiful beaches are magnets and attract thousands visitors.

Μας δειχνεις αυτο το ομορφο χωριο απο καλο και δραματικο POV. Το γαλαζιο Μ της θαλασσας και τα πρασινα δεντρα ειναι πολυ ωραια.
