Hello Georgia. A strong and subtle black and white photo in the style of classical photography. Well composed. Differentiated shades between black and white. Total masterly. Best regards, wolfgang.

Hello Georgia,
I have no way of knowing whether this woman is actually lonely, but her eyes indicate a sorrow that touches me. Loneliness, sadness of being old and facing death - or just the eternal problem of what to prepare for dinner. It doesn't really matter. It's a very fine portrait and everyone can have their own ideas of what those eyes express. I like the sepia tones too.
Regards,
Gert

very melancholic mood in there. on your sepia touch, on the soft blur, on her "ancient" eyes full of memoirs. i wish i could read the poem...

Hi Georgia.
It's a pity the lack of sharpness because I think it would improve a lot the picture.
Regards.

Hi Georgia
an intense shot, very well taken. I like it 'cause it's a bit blur, I like its sepia tones. Well seen and well done!
Have a nice day

Hello Georgia,
This is a beautiful portrait, I love the look in her eyes, it seems that in her mind, she is in some other place or era, and perhaps not necessarily lonely.
Your compositoin is great, with the chair casually filling the FG. I also like the placement of the cane handle. And of course the use of b&w is extremely successfull.
Have a nice week, Dasha
