Just a simple postcard, from the charming town of Galaxidi. If you go to visit Delphi, this is one of the towns around recommended for a visit. I especially liked the location of this place, as coming down the road from the mountains offers a wonderful view of the whole place. "It's like a little island itself", as one of my Greek friends described it.

I didn't get lucky with human elements - few passers-by probably saw me with a camera and went behind me :/ i have to practice being less conspicuous, i guess...

Full frame shot, and almost no editing, the day was wonderful and exposure compensation of -0.7 certainly helped.

Hi Marija,
Each mayaG's picture upload is waited by the TE community as we (french) wait each year for new red wine ! How does it looks like, how does it smell, what's its taste ... A pleasure to discover this new gem is a different style that you are use to share and present, a landscape here, but not a usual one, this is a marvelous one, i love the use of wide angle even if that creates a problem on disortion on the lamp, impressive the sharpness you got everywhere and the reflexion in background is the must. Perfectly well balanced, colors and contrasts are really great and huge.
A delight, once more :-)
wish you a good week end

Hello Mariji,
This is an excellent image with a very good composition. I like the way you have included the lamp post on the edge of the photo as it provides very good balance in the frame, and gives us a good indication of the old city. The f/16 settings has resulted in good clarity of the charming buildings in the background. Colours and clarity are also superb. Well done.
Cheers Grant

hi Marija, wonderful shot, superb combination with old light and fine sunlight on the village..

Hello Marija,
Very nice clear, clean, and high quality image. Soft but nice. I imagine without the use of the lamp post & foreground tile work the image of the lake & building on the shore wouldn't be as nice. So nice use of the foreground to bring much interest, depth, and different levels together. Wonderful light colors. Well done.

Regards,
Latiff.

Hello Marija,
A very nice POV, wonderful colors. The reflections over the sea are very nice, the sharpness is super,

Stay well
Valerka:)

Privet Marija, when you have such a scenery and such light you hardly need any human elements...:)) (and to be honest I don't like this TE cliche...) A postcard view but a fantastic one, the wide angle lens working so well!

Cheers
Alexander

PS It is nice to receive compliments from a person with SUCH an intro picture... :)))

The view is outstanding, I hope you also have the city with the reflections in another POV.

Regards
Stelios
