The sun just rised from the see, put a kind of spotlight on the "chora" - the name of the main village of an island. Skyros is one of the Sporades-islands on the eastern part of Greece.
Amazed from the scenery, tried to get the atmosphera of the moment.
It's not a sharp one, I know...

Sorry, but this photo tries to get too much ad loses the point. You could focus on the boats (the one in the middle is the best imo. You could focus on the mountain village, you could also compose the two boats on the left and add the nice cloud above, all with some more saturation. Choosing all of them loses the point and makes the composition very usual, not to say boring.
Technically I would like to see more color saturation and less contrast. A lower angle would also be better. Cropping the upper part of the sky to a panorama format could help either. Not one of your best, Janos.

The overall blue cast to this image washes it out for me. I sense that there was a wonderful image here, but...
I can see a couple of crops that might bring this into focus...
Though this image doesn't seem to capture what you were intending, I wonder if it could be salvaged with a little post processing.

Hi Janos, according to the earlier critiques I tried to make a workshop for you. I couldn't work out how to get rid of the overexposed village though. In general this is a good photo. It is just that "something" has happened to it.
