Photographer’s Note
Walking on the narrow streets of the old town of Chalkis, you can feel like you walk through the modern history of the town. You think you're 40-50 years back. Ok, there are not so many old houses anymore but you can see nice buildings like this one.
The old part of the city located between the old bridge of Chalkis and Agia Paraskevi church. Now in this part of the town live muslims. And that's because the houses are old, not reconstructed and the money for them are not too much as a new apartment in the modern part.
In this area you can find the famous Infantry School of Chalkis with buildings aged at the first decade of the 20th century.

Γεια σου Μπάμπη. Very nice photo you show us here and a very good note. I like the warm colours and the nice sky blue (polarizer was helpful). I also like the field depth which shows us the non-ending line of the old houses. Μπράβο φίλε!
