This is a good composition, but you have to apply a sharpen filter to counterfeit the effect of the low-pass filter of this device. Look at the result in my workshop, I think it's much better.

Well you will probably do some beautiful picture with this superb camera. this one is nice for a test,i like colors so sweet.

and congratulations on getting a fine new camera !
(I ordered mine yesterday, but the other brand... anyway I'm not into the N vs C war, both are good !)
Nice composition here having the sun rising over the harbour, the low light looks good and Pascal gave you hints about PP, did you shoot that one in JPEG or RAW ?

Congrats on your new camera, Mpampis - you are going to love it, I can assure you :) A pleasant evening scene, overlooking the boats and the perspective oriented towards the fireball as it is about to disappear on the horizon. Nice shot, have fun learning and experimenting.

Are you kidding? Nothing special? Maybe the picture is simple, but... i like it! Sun's reflection on the water is a "strong piont" of this picture. Really!

Nice first shot with your D70.
No doubt that you have made a good choice ;)
In this case I think that your DoF with f/7.1 was too short.
But, as you called it, it's a test. Your pictures are really technically perfect now !
