the house is well hidden from every indiscreet gaze unless this part, as is seen from the lobby of the near by hotel.

Poros

Poros (Greek: Πόρος) is a small Greek island-pair in the southern part of the Saronic Gulf, at a distance about 58 km (31 nautical miles) south from Piraeus and separated from the Peloponnese by a 200-metre wide sea channel, with the town of Galatas on the mainland across the strait. Its surface is about 31 square kilometres (12 sq mi) and it has 4,117 inhabitants. The town of Poros has 4,102 of these inhabitants. The only other inhabited settlement is Ágios Nektários (pop. 15). The ancient name of Poros was Pogon. Like other ports in the Saronic, it is a popular weekend destination for Athenian travelers.
Poros is an island with rich vegetation. Much of the northern and far eastern/western sides of the island are bushy, whereas large areas of old pine forest are found in the south and center of the island. It has a good road network and adequate tourist infrastructure, which makes it a popular resort for short holidays. Though possessing no airport, it is easily accessible from Athens via ferry or hydrofoil or from the adjacent mainland at Galatas.

Καλησπέρα Δάνο,
αξιοζήλευτη η θέση αυτού όμορφου παλιού σπιτιού μέσα στην υπέροχη φύση, το πράσινο του πευκοδάσους και το μπλε της θάλασσας. Μου αρέσει πάρα πολύ η σύνθεση με το μπλε τρίγωνο ανάμεσα στα δέντρα και τα βράχια. Η διαύγεια της εικόνας, το θαυμάσιο φως και τα ζωντανά χρώματα είναι απολαυστικά. Το λευκό είναι τόσο φωτεινό και χαρακτηριστικό. Υπέροχη εικόνα, συγχαρητήρια και ευχαριστώ!

Very pleasing scene, it makes me want to go there. The house is well framed by the woods and the colors of the woods and the sea are amazing.
I have quite often taken the hydrofoil from Pyraeus to Monemvasia (where my mother lives) and we always stopped at Poros. Never before thought about getting of the boat until now, but with your picture, I consider it seriously.

Such a scenic secluded cove but those lovely lush forest and the emerld color are superb, a very absorbing picture. There are specks bright splashing colors that make this image standout, excellent shooting angle with good depth and perspective.
