Many of my travels begin and finish here in the harbour of Piraeus Pictures taken through the ferry-boat in my departure for a island

Πειραιάς
Στέφανος Κορκολής / Ρεβέκκα Ρούσση

Πήγα
σε πατρίδα που ήταν μακριά και είδα ξεχασμένα του κόσμου παιδιά πως πονώ
κι όταν
τραγουδούσα του πόνου σκοπό και ζούσα
να παλεύω μ΄αυτά που αγαπώ φυλακτό

Μα
ο ουρανός είναι γκρίζος εκεί
δεν μυρίζει γαλάζιο η βροχή
δεν χορεύει τ΄αντίο η ψυχή
δεν ξέρει
και
ξαναζώ στην παλιά γειτονιά
στο λιμάνι μου τον Πειραιά.
Φώτα, κόκκινη αγάπη φωτιά, η καρδιά στον Πειραιά

Πήγα
κι η αλήθεια μου ζούσε μακριά κρυμμένη
μυστική την κρατούσα βαθιά μη τη λες
κι οταν
περπατούσα σε ξένες στεριές θυμόμουν
μια θάλασσα κύματα ευχές
μη κλαις

Μα

γεια σου Γιώργο,έδωσες στο Πειραιά μια πολύ μεγαλη αιγλη με τη φωτο αυτη πολυ ωραι λήψη απο τελειο πραγματικα σημείο όλο το σκηνικό ειναι topgeo...!

Very nice vertical format photograph!
I like the architecture of the buildings and even the smoke/vapor from the boat created an interesting harbor atmosphere!

My girlfriend Burcu (TE member burGu) visited Athens this summer and she also had the chance to travel to Piraeus. And at that time, i was in Turkey, looking down the place only in GoogleEarth :(
So, that's it, great architectural structures as i've dreamt of (not the concrete jungle at the BG, of course). And vertical narrow cadrage works perfectly for me. TFS,

Hi Georgios,
Busy and full of life sight. Several beautiful details can be discovered on the picture, like the beautiful buildings and big bustle. The composition spectacular, I would have left more of the ship on the picture possibly. Photo with superb mood. Have a nice day
