Photographer's Note

Trehantiri is a type of fishing boat which has been used in East Mediterranean for more than 3 centuries. In Greece the fishermen take them out to basically catch small tasty fish as marida or gavros. They leave right after sunset and they return before sunrise. They stay out fishing all night under the moonlight. Picture taken with manual camera.

Hello Eleni,

Perhaps a incorrectly scan/upload, so I will
not judge the sharpness.
What I like is the open space and the vertical
position in this picture: it makes it nice
calmness and it creates a nice depth.
Composition and light management are very good.
The moon is a nice extra.

What an effect of the full moon did, Eleni.
You must take a bit a forward step, enhance some sharpness on such a picture.
Lovely scenery, as you had the moon on daylight, and added a fine reflection as well.
( in Photoscape, which is a free-download, you can enhance and correct even scanned photos).
I had taken the liberty to post a WS, hope you will approve.

Καλημέρα Ελένη,
Πολύ όμορφη η φωτογραφία, με το τρεχαντήρι που φεύγει πρωί πρωί για ψάρεμα. Όμορφη αντανάκλαση, με την πανσέληνο να απογειώνει την φωτογραφία. Έχω και εγώ δεκάδες, τυπωμένες, φωτογραφίες που θέλω να τις περάσω στον υπολογιστή μου. Πολύ δουλειά και αμφίβολο το αποτέλεσμα!

Nice boat, tomorrow it will be the full moon
I can see we have started to take photos at the same time with same manual cameras
I don't mind it is a good shot despite of the sharpness

I really like the way you composed this image with the moon very well placed and the reflection.
I think even the lack of sharpness gives it an impressionist look. It has an appealing "old times" feel.
