The no existing of the automobiles in this place give you the felling when you walking around that you are in one other era ,only horses and mules and small donkeys you can meet in the streets , the small streets with many stairs and curves …

Here you show us an interesting view of a village with a lot of different houses, situated in a steep slope. Different and at the samt time a unity, a community. The light here works very well and emphasizes the beauty of this scenery. I like the lot of greenery here!

Καλησπέρα Νικηφόρε.
Ο απογευματινός ήλιος νομίζω, έδωσε παραξενα αλλά όμορφα χρώματα στο Υδραίικο τοπίο.
Όμορφα καντραρισμένη η πλαγιά με τα παραδοσιακά σπίτια που σε συνδυασμό με την χρωματική πανδαισία και την ευκρίνεια έδωσε ένα πραγματικά απολαυστικό για τα μάτια αποτέλεσμα.

Great composition of these white houses that seem to climb over the hillside, with a mixture of green and red tones around it that contrast with a lot of force in the image.
The graphical effect is very high, I like it.

Hi Nicephorus,
A great capture from Hydra. İt's been made either very early in the morning or late afternoon. Anyhow, the light is perfect. Very nice compo and very good chosen pov.
Amazing sharpness throughout the picture and very good notes.

Hi Nicephorus. I like the way you have placed the red house in the middle of the composition, as a focal point. The shot is very sharp and conveys well what the village is like. The colour and light are very good. I also like the little bit of sky in the corner. Perhaps the shot needs a stronger frame around it, that is all.

oh hydra again... where your sister have a summer house.. that i m jelaous of... i dont see a ugly house there, all beautiful... especially that orange one is so cool... i would love to get old in a place like that... the white sky is a bit disturbing but still a good shot of this magical island file mou...

Μπράβο εκ των προτέρων! Για το πόσο ζωντανά και σε απόσταση αναπνοής έφερες τη θαυμάσια αυτή γωνιά της Ύδρας! Αγαπώ αυτό το μέρος! Νομίζω πως βλέπω μέσα στα σπίτια, και θα μιλήσω με τους καπετάνιους και της κυράδες τους, θέλω να το ζήσω από κοντά.

Νικηφόρε καλησπέρα,
ωραία η φωτογραφία σου από την μαγευτική Ύδρα,με το απογευματινό φως να λούζει ευχάριστα τα σπίτια.Σκαρφαλωμένα πάνω στον λόφο δημιουργούν μια αίσθηση ανεξαρτησίας το ένα σπίτι από το άλλο και το σπουδαιότερο όλοι έχουν θέα προς την θάλασσα.Η μόνη δυσκολία για το πως ανεβαίνουν σε τέτοια ύψη.

I like very much this photo, the light is magnificent and this red house which makes everything to show. Does it belong to an Italian man?
It seems to me to have seen the photos of Hydra with houses of this color. Is it a tradition of the island?

This is how great photo around the hills of Hydra with all the houses bordering the hills with their colours and shapes. It's even better when' just as you say, they are touched by the light in such a gentle way.
I like a lot this POV bringing us all this constuctions which contrasts so well with the trees that grow in their middle.
