Photographer's Note

Some types of fishing nets, like seine and trammel need to be kept hanging vertically in the water by means of floats at the top.
They are used not only to keep fishing nets afloat, but also for dropline and longline fishing. Often larger floats have marker flags for easier spotting. (wikipedia)

Super visual imapact here with the line of brightly coloured floats. I particularly enjoy the the way that the movement in the water has created some abstract reflections. Your tight selection of just part of this boat has worked very well.

Καλησπέρα Βασίλη,
πολύ ωραία ιδέα να συμπεριλάβεις στο ίδιο κάδρο τις σημαδούρες που κρέμονται στη σειρά και τις αντανακλάσεις τους. Η εικόνα είναι πολύ όμορφη και παιχνιδιάρικη αφού υπάρχει συμμετρία και αντιστοιχία όσον αφορά ατα χρώματα και στα σχήματα, ενώ οι υφές και η ένταση των χρωμάτων είναι πολύ διαφορετικές. Μου αρέσει πολύ ο τρόπος που παίζει το φως πάνω από την επιφάνεια και πάνω σ' αυτήν και οι εκπληκτικές αντανακλάσεις. Μπράβο και ευχαριστώ!

Καλησπέρα,

Πολύ όμορφη και αυτή με "ζωηρά" χρώματα και έντονο φωτισμό.Όμορφο θέμα και ταιριάζει απόλυτα στην εποχή.Επίσης εξαίρετες ανακλάσεις στο νερό!Πολλά συγχαρητήρια.

Βασίλη γεια σου,
μάλλον ατζαμή βλέπω να είναι ο καπετάνιος γιατί δεν εξηγείται να έχει τόσα πολλά προστατευτικά στην βάρκα του.Από την άλλη είανι θείο δώρο για τον φωτογράφο να βρεί μπροστά του τόσα χρώματα που με τις αντανακλάσεις τους να συμπληρώνουν πλήρως το όμορφο σκηνικό.

The floats in the side of the ship, its nice colors, and the reflections of all this on the water, form a very attractive image at sight, illuminated-well and with a very effective framing.
