| This is a cool bust of Medusa near the entrance to Koenigstein Castle south of Munich. I love how the older castles and forts tend be adorned with all sorts of cool monsters and such, while later constructions tended to feature more angelic, blissful artwork. To me, statues of monsters and mythical evil creatures seem to be much more impressive and interesting in these sorts of places! As far as the post-processing, I desaturated it a bit and brought out the green color more, along with an increase in contrast and a bit of zoom blur around the edges. Hope you like it! |

Hi Essie,
cool capture.
But it seems to be a little over exposed, doesn't it?
great sharpness and contrasts, very good blurring, it gives the head a nice DOF
and the duo chrome in grey/green fits perfectly.
tfs and best regards, Heike
