| Only people that live or lived there could say imediately this is Berlin. You know why? Because of the painted 6. Yes, that’s right. There is a guy since years now, painting this kind of 6 everywhere. In eight years I saw him only once. When I arrived in Berlin in 1996 he was already in work. When I left in 2004 he just kept going on. Now we are in 2008 and he just doesn’t give up his life project or dream or whatever you like to call it. But one thing is sure. The man is persistent. This photo was taken in the Kastanienalle, Prenzlauerberg. It’s a window from a temporarily empty house. |
