A couple of weeks ago, I posted a similar shot of the Inn river with a swan on it - unfortunately with grey skies...

During my last visit to Passau, I went back to the same spot and finally got some really nice skies, blue and with some fluffy white clouds. And there was even a swan, too - don't know if it was the same one though. Unfortunately he (or she) wasn't in a very favourable position this time. He was approaching the shore and quickly disappearing out of my picture, so I had to snap a quick shot before losing him completely...

The church you can see is St. Gertraud, where I was baptized... It was originally built in 1301 but badly damaged during the big city fire in 1809. It was rebuilt during 1815/1816 in classicist style. (info gathered from Wikipedia)

Hallo Claudia,

"man sieht sich meistens zweimal im Leben" und hier hat sich der Aufwand doch glatt gelohnt..; schöner Aufbau mit tollen Farben und als Highlight auch noch ein klasse Himmel.. (gäbe es doch mehr von solchen Tagen..)...
