Now that is like Heaven! I don't often use the word but this is a stunning image. That glassy water coupled with those incredible greens and crystal clear water are impeccable. Your post-processing is transparent to my eye thus perfect.

Fantastic composition! It has a good story -- the mountain lines leads the view from the hut toward the expansive ranges at the background. The reflection of the sky on the water hints of the great spaces beyond the photo.

Hi Manuel,
interesting note about the post processing and the use of Capture NX 2; do you also use the previous version of NX? with this new version have I understood correctly that you have the option to sharpen different parts of the shot and not the whole lot all together?
About the picture, I think this is good. It's well composed with the old house really well placed off center and creating depth; the different green tones of the water have created a beautiful mood and yes, it looks almost a dream. Good job!

Outstanding capture, Manuel. Beautiful setting with mountains framing both sides. Excellent reflection on the gently rippling water. The boathouse is well placed within the frame. Very memorable shot.

I prefer the last version over this one. The composition is almost the same, but the exposure is better on the previous one. I also prefer the way the water is more smooth in the previous upload.

Anyhow I rather understand this "repost"...
I am thankful about the information about this Obersee which is now a must visit if I some day will visit the Königssee.
