Artistic Water Ballet Photo

Photographer’s Note

During my short trip to Hamburg, I was invited to an opening ceremony one evening, in the port area at one of the old brick warehouses. I had the chance to watch a very particular show . An italian group performing modern dances under strong water showers illuminated by colorful beams. It was a fast game, and the light was changing constantly with short gaps of complete darkness or bursts of flashlights. I managed a few pictures this is one of them.

Must have been an impressive performance, as that shot suggests it... You captured that well, despite the low light and the people all around I guess. Quite ok.

Hello Izzet

I guess was a great show,from your first picture I can imagine that.
A smaller aperture and lower speed would give a nicest effect,but we have to think all the time of those things?.I guess not.
An artistical frame,as the show it was.It`s a beauty.

Bonjour Izzet,
D'après ta note, j'imagine assez facilement que ce genre de spectacle n'est pas facile à photographier, mais comme d'habitude, tu t'en tires d'une main de maitre avec cette douche vert. J'aime le détail de l'eau qui rebondit sur le dos du danseur et le rideau formé en arrière plan. Vraiment une image splendide!

This is a stunning shot.. no less no more.. full of straighten shapes which are suddenly broken on human sillhouette.. From metaphorical point of view, a striking illustration of human lot.. wrestling with diversity..

very strong image that makes the imagination work. It is really beautiful and impressive, the play of light in the stream, the way it splits up when hitting the body, charming.

Dear Izzet Bey,
This is a stunning, astonishing, captivating photo. One of the most original ones i've seen in TE for a long time. The laser color is one of a kind, the pouring water is one of the best examples of water movement i've ever seen, and the Mannierist figure under water is open to many interpretional readings. A masterpiece from Hamburg, original and unexpected!

valla söylenecek bir şey bulamıyorum gerçekten tek kelime ile muhteşem bir kare.özellikle suyun yukarıda aşağıya doğru akış efektini son derece mükemmel yansıtmışsınız.ayrıca lazer yeşili renk tonu ve parıltılar nefis görünüyor elinize sağlık.
