On May 12th I took a long walk with a friend of mine around this lake in Bremervörde in the north of Germany. We enjoyed the warm sun and the changing light as we walked and talked. There were lots of people with their dogs, on bikes or - like us - walking and relaxing after a hard day at work.
If you ever have the chance come to Bremervörde and enjoy the beauty of this lake.
This shot shows only a small part of the lake in the light of the setting sun. Some time ago there was a foot-bridge, now there are only the remains of it as you can see in the left part of the picture. Now nature is taking this place over again. In the grass were lots of insects, creating a humming sound that was very audible some meters away. Ducks were on the lake - not visible from my point of view - adding their sounds to the "concert" the insects gave.
