This is "Colinius", the tv-tower in Cologne. I had the intention to go up to the top of it and to take some photos from there... But Colonius was closed for visitors, empty and abandoned, forgotten like an old ghost.
I took this picture in a cloudy day. Light was not brilliant, so I desatured the picture. I could not have done it and the effect would be more or less the same. |

too bad that the restaurant at the top of the colonius is closed, isnīt it? i do not live
very far from it and am hoping that they will open it again sometime,
but i have not heard of any plans regarding that...
anyway, nice photo, i like the pov and the desaturation, great idea, and the composition
is good with the tower peeking through the leafless branches. well done & hope you had a nice time in cologne, thor.
