Hi Frank,

Nice combination of buildings to offer a sample of Herborn. Some town hall looks better than others, particularly the ones that we don't have to go paying taxes....

The sun is still low in the sky, so you've caught some intense and well lit colours. Good use of the vertical frame.

Très jolies ces maisons à colombages qui s'élancent vers un ciel tout bleu. Nous en avons en Bretagne et tout parciculièrement à Dinan à une trentaine de kms de chez moi.

Guten Morgen Frank,
sehr kraftvoll wirkender Standpunkt, er gibt den Häusern richtig Bedeutung. Schön das Licht, was dem Kontrast auch gegenüber dem Himmel gut tut und die Strukturen klar herausbringt. Etwas schade, das der Fokus im unteren Bereich nicht ganz scharf zeichnet.

There is obviously an abundance of beautiful half timbered houses in Germany. Herborn seems to be a must on the next trip! Very attractive picture!

What a quiet autumn day with a nice pauzing place there on the bench against the lovely wall of this town-hall of Herborn.
Again this typical wood construction facade of the building to the right make this picture very attractive.
Composition and colours be superb.

The architecture is great here and you have captured it beautifully. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The vertical framing of this shot works well showing the height of the buildings while giving us nice closeup details.
