The chains on your wrists cut into your skin, blood dripped down your arms but you didn't mind, this pain was nothing compared to the chains that seemed to have constricted themselves around your heart. You felt nothing but utter lonliness.
It had been a week since you had arrived at Kuronue's castle but it felt more like an eternity. You had long since given up on any hope that someone would rescue you.
You missed your freedom dearly but you had finally come to the conclusion that freedom wasn't the only thing you missed.
You missed waking up feeling completley safe.
You missed waking up to Yoko with his arms around you.
You missed walking into the kitchen and hearing Kurama humming soft ningen lullabies.
You missed them.
After the third day of torture a block of ice had formed its way around your heart and it showed no signs of melting.
Kuronue, your nose twitched at the sound of his name uttered in your mind. You hated him with every fiber of your being. He would do nothing but put you down all day, try and force you into lolita costumes, and to adhere to his 'needs'.
The thought of being with him made your stomach curl in disgust. His daily beatings had taken a toll on your body but you dodn't mind. Sopmetimes you told yourself it would be better if you died. You wouldn't have to look at that discusting man any longer.
You remembered when he had found your mating mark, you still mad marks from that lashing.
You shifted your body against the cold wall and the deep cuts on your back stung as you slid them across it.
You hung your head low as you heard the door to the dungeon open. It was the signal of a new day, which meant more ridiculing and being beaten until an inch of your life.
Light filtered over your body as your cell door opened. You didn't have to look up to see who it was.

Belle perspective. Bien joué.

Who the hell is Brigitte Fox (When I googled the name I found an American soccer player)? And what for a weird text of her did you put in your note? Did this facade really arouse such feelings in you?! When we were standing in front of it together I didn’t have the impression that you had such deep going thoughts about freedom and stuff like that.
Nice shot btw, which accentuates the symmetry of the façade very effectively. I think though that there is missing some disturbing element.

Hello, Deniz -
Very unusual shot, nicely balanced in all its parts. The sky reflections are great. The solid state aspect comes across very well, but I'm not so sure about the freedom part.

Su goruntuyu elde etmek icin nasil bir durus sergiledigini merak ediyorum. Oyle ki ustune basip yuruyesim, camlardan zip zip ziplayasim geldi. Camlardaki yansimalara bakip kendimi ucuyor falan sanirdim herhalde.
Notun girisinden cok etkilendim, ama durust davranmak gerekirse sanirim sabah sabah devamini anlamakta zorlandim. Kendime not; gun icinde tekrar oku... :)

Great POV, wonderful graphism and colours.
I like your note and the reflections
TFS and have a nice weekend
Merline (0) 2008-02-22 17:47
superb graphism, I love this. Also the pov very close to the wall makes it look bigger I guess, it's clean and neat and sharp as a razor. The reflections in the windows have a wonderful blue/green tonality. I get a bit of a science-fi feeling although it's not that.:-).
Now, I like the text but not specially with the picture...although there is reference to cold walls for me it's two separate things here...it induces a mood I do not see in the picture.
TFS, enjoy the weekend!
Kind regards, Michèle
