Photographer’s Note
The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in the centre of Berlin is Germany's central Holocaust memorial site, a place for remembrance and commemoration of six million victims.
The memorial was built in 2005, 60 years after the end of World War II, and designed by the US architect Peter Eisenman.
Each of the 2,700 concrete slabs is a unique shape and size. They bear no plaques, inscriptions or symbols, just an anti-graffiti agent.
