Photographer’s Note

Snapshot from Frankfurt Airport. The corridor was both dizzyfying and spacy so I rested my cam on something to produce this image. Its more special than pretty, but somehow I like the wierd light and the dramatic perspective.

PS: Just curves and sharpening.

What a wonderful sense of simmetry! Those diagonals are quite fascinating, with this weird combination of shades of pink, blue and green (a potentially hiddeous mixture otherwise!)... Was it pure luck or did you manage to compose your image nevertheless?
By the way, I just created a new theme, Exploring shapes and colours. Would you agree to be part of it, Mikkel, with this picture?
This invitation may not be quite formal, but we've all got to start somewhere, somehow... ;-)

Remarkable composition Mikkel! I just love those futuristic shots, and the metallic glare here makes this one both special and beautiful. Very well captured!

Very interesting image. The perspective is great. Maybe croping a bit of the top and right to place the end of the tunel in the top right third would create a stronger effect.

Hi Mikkel, I am a sucker for colors, I really like this shot. I have been so often through this terminal without shooting a single time..

j'adore les couleurs qui sont rares et difficiles à trouver en extérieur.
Les lignes fuyantes de la perspective sont parfaitement convergentes vers le bon coin de la photo mais je sais bien que vous ne les auriez pas fait ce rejoindre au centre !! ;-)

I think its pretty! Great colours looks like a great place!

There are similar futuristic scenes at Manchester airport with the conveyor belts and the great lighting!
