[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
When shooting skyskapes, I first tried using a polarizer. The result can be seen here. The strange, rainbow like colors are due to a cross polarisation. (When one is trying to create abstract shots, this is a very nice effect to work towards.... when shooting landscapes, skyskapes or seaskapes this is not a desired effect. (I just thought I'd share this with you, I don't think this happens often but it can happen. So if this happens to you, and you think there might be something wrong with your camera, just try with out the pola filter.)

Interesting technical fact, it might come in handy.
As for the photo I think the view is nice, but it is far from a particularly good photo.
Still, the view is nice and the contours of the clouds are quite prominent.
