Let Winter Come, a photo from Bayern, West

Photographer's Note

"Winter vs Autumn" is over now....winter won!
Though the trees have got no more leaves now,they are still beautiful to look at.The day I took this picture,the light was very good and I liked the blue sky very much. The picture was taken on a small village called "Linggen".On the lower right you can see the "Vogelburg" (so this house is called).

I hope you like it and can give me some good hints,

I definetly like the shot, beautiful colours and perfect feeling of a cold and crispy winter day. I also like how the winding fence leads the eye into the shot, and how the picture-perfect building in the background makes the viewer imagine warm fireplace and big family dinner :) you could use this photo for Christmas cards, it suites the holiday mood precisely :)

Schönes Winterfoto, Jonas. Du hast einen guten Blickwinkel ausgesucht, um das Bild aufzunehmen: der knorrige Baum und die Kirche bieten zwei interessante Blickpunkte, und mir gefällt auch, wie sich der Zaun vom Vordergrund aus durch die verschneite Wiese schlängelt. Die Farben sind lebhaft und die Belichtung ist recht ausgewogen. Gut gemacht!

Je vois que la neige est arrivée dans ta région. Tu nous proposes un joli cliché bien cadré avec de belles couleurs, une vraie carte de noêl.

Hallo Jonas. Ein Bild wie zu Weihnachten. Ich genieße es besonders, weil ich nur auf einer Meereshöhe von ca. 250 m wohne, Schnee also relativ selten lange liegen bleibt. Dein Photo ist gut komponiert, schön und sehenswert. Viele Grüße, Wolfgang.

Et oui, l'hiver s'installe, l'hiver prend sa place et dans cette belle image, un peu tout de même carte de noël... le ciel est d'un bleu azur magnifique - le paysage est complet avec toiture blanche, grand sapin au loin, jolie cloture bien placée dans la photo - c'est du très bon travail, -

Bonjour Joans,
tu as bien de la chance de déjà avoir tant de neige, cela ouvre des horizons interssants pour la photo et aussi pour la maitrise technique de ces prises délicates, souvent surexposées. Ce qui n'est pas le cas ici.
Des avant gouts de noël.

Olá Jonas, we can feel well the winter now. Blue sky, snow and sun are a great combination for photography. Good composition with the tree, (completely) white house and fence at right corner. Good exposure on the snow, beautiful sky. Well done, once again.

you have good serie of trees in your last posting photos.
And I have choosen this one because it is difficult to capture white colour. And here it is good balanced white. Nicely composed winter image.

A very beautiful image of “Christmas”. I like much this tree with its connected delicately covered with snow. The point of view is excellent, I like much this landscape balanced well and very pleasant to look at and this blue sky emphasizes the image well. Beautiful job Jonas cheer.

A well balanced composition, where the house tree and fences are well placed elements!
Good colours and the sunlit snow is well exposed, a fine sky with a nice veil of clouds...
Good foreground interest effectively creates a fine feeling of depth!
