Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken from the monumental statue of Kaiser Wilhelm I which stands at the Deutscher Eck or German Corner at the confluence of the Rhine and Mosel rivers in the city of Koblenz.
The autumn day was fabulous and there was a pleasant breeze blowing throughout. I climbed up this fascinating monument, which is accessible via several stairs, and took this photo through one of the passages there.
