Sometime ago I posted a photo of a pink bar in Bonn...

I'm not a person who usually likes to go into bars, but the lighting and interior design, I was drawn in like a fish on a hook.

Hi Liliana,

I really like the warm colors of the bar but I also like all the symmetrical lines created by the cabinets and the chairs. I wouldn't mind having a drink there!

Amazing... but when I saw this one I immediately remembered the pink bar... and logically thought that you are kind of stitched to these places.
But your note is there to correct me!
I particularly love the strong symmetry in this picture with the three chairs balancing the four bottle racks.
I'll take a 10 year Talisker please

great shot, Liliana, excellent colours. I've always enjoyed photos that manage to convey some human-like features of inanimate objects, and here all the shiny bottles seem eager to greet the first customers, but they also look ready to trick those already seeing double :) lively shot, and I also like the composition you've chosen, seems like seconds before the crowd rushes in. thanks for sharing :)

Hey Lili,

Bar nowadays are not just places to have a drink, its a 'lifestyle', a new culture in bar lounging. The simple or minimalist design in bar interiors are becoming a hip to young sophisticates. Even bars are named after famous designer brands like the Armani Bar here in Central, Hong Kong is one of a few bars that features a unique style/creativity in design and lighting. Many come up with new concepts to appeal to the new urban society that we live in.

The colours are very edgy and stylish, vivid contrast in lighting, creating just the right mood. I'll have a beer please...

Hi Liliana,

Th yelow light is quite nice and you framed the interesting objects well. It would be more lively if there were some people sat in the bar..., but this way is just like yu are really inviting us to 'fill-in' the chairs.

Hi Lili,
With all the police blood controls now and especially before christmas it's much safer to drink at home... that means of course you could miss interesting photo opportunities, this one is nice thanks to the yellow glow on the wall that outlines well the shapes of the bottles. Looks that they don't carry decent beer though, can't drink that bitburger, a Staropramen will do for me ;-)

Hi Liliana,
Well captured light in this indoor shot. The row of bottles makes a nice detail here, enhaced by the warm orange background of the shelves.
The question is: where are the people? A rare moment of their absence or nobody ready for a drink, one has to wonder :)

Prost Liliana! I am also not a bar goer but I do like Pubs but this is more the case when I am abroad. I totally agree, this would have caught my eyes too, and I find your photo job very well executed and how you framed the whole thing with the yellow Cocktail Bar letters suiting this stylish place. Hi Lili!

Excellent atmospheric photo, with great light managment, and impressive graphic result. There are some signs of "barrelizing" because of the use of wide angle, but that's a minor detail. During my years in University I worked as a bartender, so seing bars always touches me. Congratulations and TFS!

Hello Liliana,
It's the yellow/golden tones that made me open that thumbnail in the first place. The color is strikinf, especially with the deep shadows here and there. I like seeing the bar empty, it's like the quiet before the storm when all the trendy boys and girls will come in to "show" themselves in the new trendy bar downtown.
I'd like a cold Krombacher for now...

Just as you were caught by the light of this bar your photo get us into your photo too, this fact and the graphism created by the bootles standing at the shelves.
It's a different work from your usual but very 'classy'.

I am not at all visitor of bars but what I like and admire is good design. I don´t care if it is typical irish pub, cool styled modern bar or anything else - the most important is purity of style. Like in your photo which has good POV and superb work with light.

Like you i love those designs in some pubs, colorfull and stylish, there are a lot in Paris so called 'lounge bar' (a way to name a bar in order to sell things twice more expensive), i'm sure that the drinker may be well seated on those seats :)

I' ll have a Mojito Royale please. I'm not a bar person myself but this one looks very classy. Good symetry and light control in this photo. My experience is that cocktail bars that look amazing usually do not server amazing cocktails. The cocktail bars that actually focus on the art of making great cocktails usually have no good eye for design of their bar. Anyway, TFS, Gilbert
