[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hamburg was the fourth city of the Hansa that we visited, one of the most important. Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany and though it is more than one hundred kilometers away from the sea, has an important harbour.
This is the new City Hall of Hamburg. The old one burned in 1842. The construction of this one took 43 years, from 1854 to 1897. To give you an idea about the dimensions, the tower is 110 meters high.
The reflections are on the "little Alster". The Alter is actually a river but looks like a lake in Hamburg. (or like two lakes: the "big Alster" and the "little Alster".
No tripod, but I could lean the camera on the railing of a bridge.

Hej Clemente,
Another city that I only passed on the motorway when going to DK. But again it certainly looks worth a real visit. The architecture of the city hall is great and the building is so beautifully illuminated. The reflections in the water are very nice too. Well captured and thanks for sharing!
Regards,
Lars

Hi Clemente,
Good to see you again.
Hamburg is for me the city with a big change for traffic-jam on my road to the North. Maybe I must next time stop in the city for it should be a very photogenic town.
Groet Rob
