| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A couple after a wedding ceremony in Cologne. I used the flowers in foreground (which I thing are decoration of the city) to unsharpen the bride and the groom. I was not invited and I do not know if this is an intrusion. If somebody think it is, please tell me.
The building where they are coming out is not a church though it looks like one. This is the old city hall. I do not know when it was built. I have readen that there area documents of the year 1'135 that tell about a "house of the citizens". It has a beautiful 61 metres high tower built in 1'414.
The building was seriously damaged during the World War II and rebuilt.
This building is not far from the cathredal, less than two minutes walking, but the number of visitors can not be compared. |

Hej Clemente,
Excellent use of the flowers with such attractive colours in the foreground. Suits well the situation and unsharpens the view nicely. Nice to see some colleague-photographers as well.
Regards,
Lars
¡Hombre Clemente! Cuanto tiempo sin verte por aquí. Me gusta el juego de foco, con las flores en primer término, además me gusta mucho este edificio, uno de los pocos que quedaron en pie tras la guerra. Hasta pronto.
