Photographer’s Note

It took this photo almost a year ago when I was in Berlin. In Berlin, they are working on lots of places to renovate the city.

In the background of this photo, you see the "Fernsehturm" (German for "television tower"), the third largest structure in Europe. The tower is 368 m high and it was built between 1965 and 1969 by the former German Democratic Republic.

About the photo: I didn't do some much pp-work, because the light conditions (and the weather) were very good. I only cropped the photo a bit by the top, gave it a tiny bit more light and conrasts, resized, framed and sharpened it.

Hoi Stef,

Inderdaad veel PP werk moest u hier niet doen, het weer was in zijn beste doen.
Ik moet even langer kijken dan normaal want er zijn heel veel details op deze foto tezien, zelfs een trein in de achtergrond.
In welke stad zijn nu geen werken bezig, het is verdomd gedaan ergens te rijden.
Uw verticaal beeld met de gigantische TV mast en de lader in de voorgrond maakt deze foto zeker aantrekkelijk.

Ha Berlijn, ik was er laatst nog zie hier. Geweldige stad en heel mooi hoe je het feit dat de stad na de hereniging nog steeds vol in beweging weergeeft met die shovel op de voorgrond. De transformatie van de TV toren is mooi gedaan ;-) Mooi werk!

Hej Stefan,
Van de foto's die ik de afgelopen week gemist heb, kies ik deze als eerste, omdat ik het ontzettend goed vind dat de bovenkant van de Fernsehturm precies boven op die paal van de werkzaamheden staat. Had je dat zo uitgekiend of zag je het pas later? Ik zie dat het ook nog steeds een voetbal was na het WK. Compositie is uitstekend en het licht erg mooi. Et flot stykke arbejde! :-)
