Lorchhausen was established as an own community 1773 and before part of Lorch. On the eastern bank of the Rhine it is one of the beauties you can see here. The church (local:Kerch) St.Bonifatius was built 1879 and the chapel (1909) you see on the hill is dedicated to Clemens. Like most of these small villages Lorchhausen has a lot of grapes to create wine. A railway can be detected directly in front of the church, this is the eastern Rhine connection, in Lorchhausen built in 1862, the station in 1906. You may imagine the noise which is today exposed as there is a lot of traffic on this connection. It is part of the route from Frankfurt to Cologne. Today is Lorchhausen no longer an own community, in 1971 it was reunioned with Lorch (a bit south). The map is positioned on the church, you see a train standing before the church.

Hello Ulf,
A fine composition with good juxtaposition between church, chapel and village. The details in the brickwork are well captured and the tones very natural. Very good clarity.

Hello! Very nice shot with two churches in frame. Excellent quality, interesting composition. Good work! Andrzej

Grus fur dich,Bratislav

I like the scene Ulf,
When you want to have a better composition you had to crop the two roofs on the left side, then you had a church out the centrum of the shot in a better composition, and believe me it's true, very nice photojob,
have a nice day.

Hi Ulf,
I have read what Jaap wrote, i hope he can show you what he means.
What i did was removing the extreme red color cast. Even the mountain is no longer green but a more reddisch style.
Don't think i don't like your picture...i do a lot, but could not resist to remove that red color cast and do some further improvements.
Hope you like it.
Regards, Henk

Hallo Ulf,
Wirklich sehr gut getroffen.
Viele Grüße

Olá Ulf, wonderful scenery with two!!! churches that seem like sisters ;-) One on the top, watching out for foreigners and the other taking care of the people of Lorch. Very nice lines of the vineyards at left, climbing up the hill and interesting architecture that you cropped on the bottom. At least seems very nice - I wonder if you have more photos of those houses...
Lieben Gruss,
ricardo

Hi Ulf!

Hallo Ulf,
On the other one there was a 'dialog' of castles, on this one there is one of churches. Another great compo, very effective and nice.
Lieben Gruss, José.

Hallo Ulf,
As José and Ricardo said, it is very well done to capture these two churches!
Congratulations,
Maria do Carmo

Hallo Ulf
St Bonifatius is well presented under a nice light which shows us the architectural details of the church. I like the shape of the hills and the little chapel in BG which gives a sense of depth to your image. Colors and framing are nice too.
Cheers
Marilyn

Hallo Ulf,
I prefer this one to the panorama you have posted today, for this one gets a bit more warmth better fitting to this nice spring day. And the succession of the two papagolfades is very nice, nice place it is !
Have a nice day,
jean-Yves

Hi Ulf,
beautiful view in pleasant golden tones. I like the way the little church above is just free from its big sister downstairs.
I have my doubts about the half houses under. Why didn't you cut them away?
Regards, Gerrit

Hi Ulf, This POV is perfect with the stunning church in the forground & the beautiful little chapple giving the depth on the hill, the detail is fabulous & the colours excellent, great light & very very well composed, kind regards Wilson.

Hello Ulf,
A beautiful piece of church architecture is well captured! Or in fact there are two, the people of Lorch must be very religious...
Good warm colours and sharp fine details in this very well composed image!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Ulf!
Another great photo taken on the same day! And you caught two churches at same time. It's a very nice composition.I like the way you placed the churches and the surrounding area. I even like that field on the right that seems to me a vineyard. Great colours also!
Good work!
