Photographer’s Note
Taken just near a big art gallery in Frankfurt, that was showing a Picasso exhibition. We didn't get to see the exhibition as I refused to leave my camera equipment behind the counter with the staff, something my girlfriend wasn't too happy with...until we went clothes shopping.

The same thing happend to my sister at a concert, a little, very very little bottle of parfume, and she needed to throught it in the trash box, and me, with the d50 in the bag tripple size of her, left pass by unchecked:)))
Anyway, I had no opportunity to shoot so...well...
This picture is great, an exellent BW presentation, the man on one side, the fence on the other, two entrance, one big inscription...all composed perfectly...
and a good note too:)

Hello, Brendan--
Nice work here, the tight crop on the text is nice, as a letter that had been cut in half would have been distracting, but instead the tight fit gives the picture a very finished feel. The silhouette is nice, countered well by the handrails to its right.
Thanks!

The man is the right add...

:-))) I love your note, makes me laugh. Wonder why not more comments on this one, it is an archetypical COOL shot, all so cold and well-measured, very organized and, as a shot, enormously graphical in the composition. I would have left my camera, mind you it is not 30D unfortunately, but am rather trusting, to a fault...
Great shot, I love it!

A 30D with a 24-105 lens behind the counter? I wouldnt leave it there either. Morons. Really people who run museums are sometimes so damn stupid.
Cool shot. Not very Picasoesque. the man is very well framed in the door, the whole vuilding looks so functional to the point of being a cold, heartless shell. But it works well to set a mood of dread, of our domination by architecture.
So, tell me, any reflections on your new place of living?

superb symmetry... On man on one side and a drinker of bear (?) on the other.
The most I like is the banana on the right side. Reminds me The Velvet.
