[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
"The Lutheran Parish Church St. Lukas, located directly at the banks of the river Isar, has been built by the architect Albert Schmidt in 1893-1896. In Munich, St. Lukas is the only evangelical parish church in the style of the Historicism that is completely preserved. The architect applied pre-reformatorial styles, the exterior shows Roman forms, the interior is orientated at the Early Gothic from the Rhineland. The groundplan of the centralized building shows the form of a Greek cross, with an apse, closed at three sides. The west front with its two square towers consists of seven different parts. The gallery organ was built in 1932 by Steinmeyer & Co. from Oettingen and it is the largest one within all Lutheran churches in Munich..."

Locals love the banks of Isar as they feel away from the big city life when laying on the pebbles there...

This one is my first trial of sepia tones and i am not sure of anything about it...

You may also check the workshop for an alternative shot from a different pov, in slightly different tones...

Korkut file mou hi!

My first thought was: ouppps, what is that?
So untypical for Korkut or so unknown.
Personally it does not hit my interest, but as I appreciate photographers with different faces, and this one is an other face of yours, I can only say: congrats arkadashim.

The surprise was succesful.

Iyi aksamlar Korkut Bostani mou (hope you do not mind calling you bostani, it is a turkish word we use it Greek, I guess the same meaning as in turkish :-) )

PS. The ws is much better always imo!

Great picture korkut,i like very much the sepia and your composition.Good work

My title would be "The Conformists", as I think the two lazy guys are the highlight of this interesting shot. The domes add grandeur and elegance to the photo, as well as the dam adds aquatic serenity which you usually use in your works. Therefore it has turned out to become a mix of atmosphere and feelings. Considering the sepia tone, it is unusual of you, and your trial of experimentation in catching the mood should be encouraged. Because this adds diversity in your profile and amazes your beholders, who may be used to expect warm colors of summer from you. For instance, I would surely take advantage of a star shaped frame, (yes star, not rectangle or square) if this was available, to surprise people, well i love experiments.

Hi Korkut, A wonderful sepia photo with excellent composition, the two people in the bottom right are position very well & add piece to the shot, the dam gives power & the domed church adds the architecture, a superb POV & well framed photo, kind regards Wilson.

great foto korkut!realy nice colours and very good pov!

Hi,
the sharpness of your photo is not really the best, but it is the perfest composition, the warm tones and the beautiful colours which make it so special.
I like the idea of including the people in the picture, so that the picture has water, which "seperates" the people from the busy city.
On one side the city, on the other ... pure nature.
Really well done.
