Photographer’s Note

This night I opened my window to have some fresh air. I took a short look out of the window and realized that the old tram-depot in front of my place is just a few steps before it will be finally completely removed.
The old depot, which is a listed building, will be refurbished and rebuild at the same place. In a few years it will be a place for cafes and supermarkets.
For the last years it was a vasted area, so I guess it has a bright future.

I put my camera on a tripod and let the shutter open for 20 seconds. I was a bit surprised about the red glowing color.
I don't know why...but this photo somehow fascinates me with all the tenements in the background and the vasted depot in the foreground.
