Photographer’s Note

For those who don't belief ...

I love to make shots of drops, most I like to make them with such a good focus to see the things behind inside the little drops.
Yesterday I tried to catch one of my Buddhas from Tibet inside the little water-bodies.

This is the result.
I put in a shot of the Buddha, that's the only PP-Work I did - the Buddhas inside the drops are a real reflection, no trick, no PP-Work, I promiss!

I also love photos of drops... and this one is so beautiful that I will let you get away with the adding of the Buddha's shot ;-P

Maybe you could improve the quality of the light in the left part of the leaf, by using for example other sources of light other than the camera's flash. And try light from other directions also... ~90º might be a good way to start.

You could also add a very simple frame (I usually add a white frame with a size of 5% of the smallest side of the photo - it is simple and efective).

Great idea and well done.

A good title for a well composed image with the reflections of Buddha in the droplets. Good sharpness, light, exposure and colors. Well done...

Great macro here...I would cut the added buddha on the right, just a little bit more, to avoid the overspace of blured BG...The idea is great!

Hi, Sabine, this is really wonderful, I am sure many would add up to the accolades if opening the thumbnail. Those reflections in the drops (water or glass?) are conveying so well the immateriality of things seen thru the buddhist philosophy, but also that all is one and one is all. The multiple hues, as rich as they are, threaten to eat up the image a bit, but this said as an afterthought.

Reading you loud and clear, over here, in thundering silence of course!

Fantastic work. I have no problem with the PP effort you have put in. At the end of the day the result is what matters and the reflections in the water droplets is one of the best I have seen. Beautiful innovative work.

Ta photo est d'une beauté extrême , en effet comment ne pas s'extasier devant ce buddha dont l'image est reflétée dans les goutelettes d'eau .En ouvrant l'obturateur à f/22 , l'image est nette juste ce qu'il faut .

une construction très soignée dans sa conception, mais aussi dans la technique de prise de vue. Au niveau artistique, le cadrage est parfait, au niveau technique, la netteté la qualité des lumières et des couleurs est sans appel.
