[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This old new door is a wonderful integration of several materials. The framing wood with the integrated glas und iron is to my impression an excellent composition. Together with the frame of the green and the house it was worth for me to publish it to you.
You may notice someone mirrored in the glas and also the sign at right. The door belongs to a building which is part of a hotel and restaurant there.

Hallo Ulf,

ja, gut gemacht! Ein hübscher Hauseingang - und mir gefällt auch, dass du dich im Spiegel "verewigt" hast.
Nur eine Sache: die Mauer rechts (mit dem Schild) kommt mir etwas überbelichtet vor.

It certainly is a curious door, so crafted and with so much elements in it!
And your compo is also imaginative and interesting.
Just the issues that disable its perfection: lack of focus here and there, over and under exposure, the slight blue/purple dominant, the distorted perspective (the barrel efect of lenses and the fact you didn't completely perpendicular to the door - the verticals are straight, but not the lower horizontals).
But, hey, we can't do miracles, do we? With so little ligth available, what could you have done with f.2.8? I guess that, like me, you don't carry a tripod with you! :-)

Yes, a nice door composed of many different elements! The old sculpted wood, the wrought iron, the pink base, and the nice framing of the ivy.
It's just a pity about the right side being over-exposed. It could easily have been cropped. It wouldn't have mattered if the door hadn't been exactly in the middle.
All the best.
Marie Louise.

Hallo Ulf, what a wonderful documentation of wood and iron craftings at this door. Very good framing and a good composition with yourself mirrored in the glass. Jose's points were noted correctly, but I agree that not every time everything can be perfect ;-))
