View of Eckernfoerde harbour from the Borby side. It is the first Sunday in June, so people and little businesses from all around Schleswig Holstein gather in the harbour area and try to sell their goods. Hardly anything that cannot be bought here but most people come for the food stalls where you can have snacks and meals of allkinds. Another attraction is the crowd of screaming puffers who sell huge quantities of one kind of product for relatively little money. A good deal is usually the fruit stall where they sell attractive baskets full of fresh fruit.
