Photographer’s Note

In the warm evening in summer in Munster Platz...
It was a very dark evening and the solitary street lamp has remembered me the Magritte's atmospheres and the colors.
Lacking his blue skies and the quality it's not of the best...But I like it.
The atmosphere was really magic.

Very interesting use of light. The composition is also very intriguing. I like it a lot. The dark blurs of people look like phantoms of the street. It almost looks like a scene from a scary movie. Well done.

Hi marco,
this is really a lovely shot.the bicycles speak of a gathering inside, bright and cosy from the world outside, yet there is the lone figure, blurred in motion, an apparition, the outsider walking the streets alone; oh i see the second figure...is he following her? a stalker perhaps, the sinister goings on of the street while inside the happy people revel in their safety. much to ponder, very pleasing, great atmosphere. jez

in effetti l'atmosfera è molto partcolare con i due "Ghosts" che passano. Bella composizione e ottimo uso di "available light".

Hi Marco,

Very warm athmosphere and great shadows/light. I like it. It does (as you pointed out) look like the painting with the same title by René Magritte (or at least part of it).

Beautiful Marco! Love the atmosphere of this one. The hat of light created bt the lamp post is amazing. Exposure is perfect for me. I even like the highlight spots. To me they are crucial here. The windows and the row of bikes really made the composition, but the blurred ghosts add the drama. Great photo!

Hello Marco,

Very impressive image that looks like theatrical scenography with perfect setting and ambiance. The light create a wonderful pattern on the wall and all the architectural elements are absolutely photogenic!

People in motion is a good added value that wrap up the shot in an exquisite way.
