Photographer’s Note

A historic restaurant with a history of witches and ghosts. With a beautiful beer garden and very interesting country cottage feel. The rustic oak beams and an open log fire set the scene for a very romantic evening.
Maulbach (near Rheinbach).

Hello Liliana -

This is a nice well exposed image and has a very nice feel to the composition. But, there a two things IMO that may be holding this image back - the light is overexposed. I know in images like this the lights get overexposed but this is large area rather than a few small light bulbs. Also, if there was some people or some action to give this is historic inn some life it would help. If there was someone moving around and all they were was a blur then it would fit in with your description of witches and ghosts. A fine image otherwise.

Very nice night time shot, love the angle you choose which exposes the side of the resturant as well as the entrance. Nice touch with the hanging tree branches.

Nice evening shot. It could use a slight clockwise rotation though. The planet at the lower left is also a bit distracting.

Hi Liliana.

Nice photo and place. But I should say two things can could dislike someone: first, is a bit tilt, and second one, the exposure not was easy and remains a few zones overexposed.
Even could be a problem about sharpness or highcompression, I am not sure.

Un restaurant de 300 ans !! et ce qui est encore plus impressionnant c'est que c'est toujours la même patronne depuis l'ouverture ;)
Bonne capture malgrèss un éclairage difficile à gérer,peut être un léger tilt ?

This looks like the kind of place I would love to dine at. So warm and inviting. When I was in England I enjoyed going to the old pubs that were often a few centuries old.
