Photographer’s Note

About 2 years ago I was at my town sub shop in Wayland MA when I paid the clerk for the food and he gave me back some change. When I looked down, I noticed that one of the pennies didn't quite look right. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that it was the Reichspfennig that you see above. I took 2 photo's of it and placed them side by side so you can see both front and back. I was really amazed that a penny like this, after so many years, would end up in the US at my local sub shop. Just imagine how many hands this passed through over the years to finally end up with me :oP I really should have placed this under "US" instead of Germany but oh well hehe.

This little penny has seen quite a bit of history!
