Photographer’s Note
During my soujorn in Europe, I spent also few days in Germany. The weather was cold and rainy those days, but i must confess, I adored every single minute.
A country I hope to visit again.
Here we see some tables and chairs chained together, peacefully waiting for summer. I can imagine how crowded the place is during the warm nights of summer.
This image is for Norbert, a traveller, talented photographer and a lovely soul I met at the TE Meeting in Rotterdam last may.

Nice shot. I like the light reflected on metal and water. Would be inclided to cut out the the top with asphalt and shadows.
TFS.

Hi Isabel.
It's amazing how are minds are crossing lately. I have an almost simmilar shot from Berlin. THe aluminum chairs attracted my eyes, but I couldn't reach the best settings - it became to metalic andto cold. That's why I admire your idea going for sepia - it came out to be so interesting and dramatic. Beautiful.

You've got the "eye" dear Isabel, and every new shot only proves it more. Just the conflagration of tables alone would have won me over but...those thin shadows toward the top, THAT'S the cing on the cake!
Beautiful work,
Francis

Beautiful metallic composition, Dona Isabel !
And great light.
I like also the shadows of the two people coming into your frame on the top.

Exellent realisation of the graphic potential of the scene here Isabel. You also seem to have don't some sublte PP on the colours, but I just read your note to Yitzhak, wow it really was like that.

Olá Isabel,
Love this picture, raindrops on the tables and chairs are wonderful and it's great that you've included these people shadows. The light play on the steel is fantastic!
Cheers

Me encantan las dos sombras al fondo, la esperanza de gente que ocupará las sillas y mesas ahora abandonadas. La luz es hermosa en esta foto, muy hermosa. Obrigado Isabel.

Hi Isabel. I was already curious to see your first photo from my neighborhood, and this is a well-observed detail of the shiny chairs and tables outside the street cafe. The special light brings forward a good amount of detail, also in the cobblestone pavement - and I particularly like the two people silhouettes entering at the top.
Thanks a lot for your lovely dedication, I'm humbled :)
As far as traveling, I am on a business trip in Madrid this week but I will probably not manage to see much more than the interior of the meeting room :(

Ola Isabel! A gorgeous graphic shot. Not sepia but could be, yet you are fooling us. The end-of-day subtle colours are incredible, the reflection on the metallic chairs and tabletops beautifully shot... and the whole DESIGN of it is just superb. The sharp focus is an excellent choice too... I love this shot!
Take care,
sasa

Great graphism Isabel - the forms of the haphazardly stacked gleaming furniture works wonders together with the rough structure and texture of the pavement.
The shadow of the two pedestrians adds interest and even a bit of suspense - perfect combination!
Beijo and have a nice week,
Bert

Bella, I thought this image is by Salsa, very graphical, very nice slick and sexy, light is wonderfull, so is the conversion/tint.
By reading many of your posts I see you had a vacation of the life time, so glad to hear that.

A beautiful one, Isabel!
I look at it and admire your choice of POV and colour tones.
The very upper part of the frame is a necessity for introducing the environment and the contrast between new (silver-metal tables & chairs) and old (cobbled street) is superb!
A really well done job,
Robi

The glistening metal contrasts wonderfully with the cobblestones Isabel. Both are hard and yet they convey such a different feel, representing different eras and sensibilities. And I love the two shadows in the upper right as strangers enter this rather curious environment. You entertain us always.

Hi Isabel,
Excellent POV. I guess the wait is over for Germany, its the height of summer and with the World Cup, this place must be buzzing with tourists. No time to relax for these chairs and tables. The lights reflected of the cobbled pavement is simply so soothing. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Isabel!
This is a nice composition, those aluminum chairs and tables give some nice reflexions and pleasant textures. A mess, yes, but with style :)
