Photographer’s Note
The Hamburg town hall, built in neo-Renaissance style in 1886-97, the magnificent "seat of government" of the city state. The town hall has an impressive size with its total of 647 rooms. Of course you just see the very top of it (112 meters) on this picture, maybe there is also a room up there... ;-) Because of the swampy underground the town hall was build upon 4000 wood logs.
Post-Processing in PS6: No cropping, autocontrast, colour levels by hand and unsharp mask.

Nice picture Jan.. I like the way it's composed. very simple, but effective..
I only know Hamburg from pictures. My best friend, here in Italy, is from hamburg, and I saw quite a bit from there.

I like that you got such good details at a distance. The bright blue background really brings out the color of the building. Only viewing the top is a unique perspective, but I wonder if people would rather see even more of the detail and not so much sky? I thought that your frame was too heavy for the up in the air view. Really interesting subject and notes on this and the other view you posted.
