Photographer’s Note
Shopping arcades at the Koenigsalle (king´s avenue).
It´s THE street to go shopping in Duesselsdorf.
Some of the most reputated jewelry shops,
designer labels and galleries have their stores
here.Always the smell of expensive parfumes
and after shave in the air, fresh air was not
in the offer..

not so strong as your previous "Shopping for clothes" picture, but it's good too, nice
checkered ceiling and floor, good perspective and great soft light! Well done!!

Hi Hermann, A nice perspective view and a daring directly facing your subject shot. Good use of light. The reflections made the walking aisle much wider than it is. Good sharpness and nice depth.

Hi Hermann,
What interested me in this picture the most is that sweater this lady is wearing, its some kind of trade mark that all around the world is having. Girls in malaysia have this design on all types of things(From wallets to cloths) as well. lol Very well taken!
Regards, Ramy.

Hi Herman,
Fantastic Perspective and graphism created by the floor and roof design. The two women ilustrate very well the chic atmosphere at this place and complete the composition.

Hi Hermann.
Strong patterns in the floor and on the roof doing perfect for a strong composition. Although the ladies are not sharp, i like it how the red jacket adds a lot of colour in this scene.
Very nice...good work..!!

Hi Hermann, another great shot! I never thought of taking pictures at a shopping mall but it might be an interesting idea actually! I like the movement feeling on her boots and the choice of subjects in the foreground. Nice mood. Tali

Haha, the ladies are giving you a quite suspicious look here, Hermann, but the photos is well built and nicely timed. Good perspective along the patterned corridor, and well-handled interior lighting. Grüsse aus Nagoya; heute vormittag geht's weiter nach Kyoto.

Nice view of this high gloss shpping area, with the shiny walkway. The glittering world is well portrayed here, and the the shoppers hustling by give a social element as well. Great shot!

Hi Hermann
I like the symmetry, between the ceiling & the floor, in addition to the superb example of diminishing linear perspective & vanishing point. Good work!

Hi Hermann,
Good impression of modern city life with the strict linear graphics in the vertical projection and the hasting people without a smile but so well dressed. (The nike-symbol on the man's nack is very good here)
Thanks and regards, Gerrit

I was just thinking the floor and ceiling remind me of a Burberry pattern and then I saw the scarf round the girl's neck. Lovely perspective shot while you were out people watching.

I like the discipline in your shots, Hermann, a little bit like your fine countryman, Norbert (currently producing great stuff in Japan!)
Here beyond the impeccable geometry, I can detect a slight tension in the women on the left. They are wondering, my friend: "Is this guy taking a shot of us? How DARE he? Our faces, our very DNA is copyrighted as citizens in a brand new PC world...
I think it kind of adds to the shot myself...
Best,
Francis

Hi Hermann,
Superb lighting in this interesting shot. I like the lines and graphics and the overall golden glow that seems to permeate the scene and suggest luxury. The women in the scene really add colour and flare and you have captured them very well. First rate work, Hermann.

Hi Hermann, people trapped in the graphic world of malls and "A" brands. Love the motion blur giving xtra 'lightness' to scene. Great and again a very evocative capture!
Have a nice weekend,

Looks maybe as if smiles weren't on offer either! Fear and loathing in Dusseldorf! Very nice image compositionally and the lighting is well handled - I like the traces of the movement of the womens legs in step with each other.
best wishes kev

hi hermann,
good title for this portrait of the "money-throwing-through-window" place;
pretty empty, isnt it? no "werkauf, saldi, sale" season, hehe;

Hi Hermann
A fine use of the vanishing point effect - the two lady looks a litte like they are trying to escape the photographer - but the motion blur works well together with the interior of the tunnel.
