Prachtig werk Hermann,
hier kan ik toch wel aan zien dat ook U de nodige progressie doormaakt op de side, prachtig wek, goede diepte lijnen, heel goed werk.

I like it, completely abstract and un-understanble result. Playing with reflects is not always easy.
I tried the same one, in germany as well, but your's is much better...

Hi Hermann,
Great shot -- I like the crazy repetition, reflections and lights. Good shutter speed to catch a little motion too :)

Hi Hermann,
Very nice idea to take this from this point of view !
We can not easily say what is reality and what is reflected !
Impressive !

Hallo Hermann,
interessante Komposition. Die Lichter, die Spiegelungen und die vielen sich kreuzenden Linien erzeugen gemeinsam eine verwirrende Grafik. Netter Einblick in den Tempel des Konsums.
Schöne Grüße,

Interesting interior shot from the Kaufhof, Hermann - the x-pattern of the escalators is well shown, the lamps add graphical appeal, and the reflections give an intriguing touch that increases the fun of deciphering this photo.

Hi Hermann, A nice view in side the department store to form an abstract view with the escalators. The reflections extended the size and the view. Good PoV and nice concept.

hi hermann,
excellent geometry, shapes, graphism of the scene;
it is interesting - there are always so many kaufhof-style department stores and they make for a great photo opportunity; just a question - is it allowed to photograph indoor of the dep stores in germany or did you have to snap the candid shots?

Hej Hermann,
This is a very nice and original picture. The many escalators look very nice and the little blur of the people shows their motion. Well done!

Outstanding shot! You have a great eye to be able to catch this set of intersecting lines, which is pretty mesmerizing. I like the light circles too, which contrast with the straight lines very well. Excellent!

hello Hermann,
what a creative and well composed image. it's hard to shoot scenes like this, for one, they don't allow photography inside, at least here. So, this is commandable.
i like your compo.

Bonjour Hermann,

Groeten,

Hallo Hermann. I visited Kaufhof stores very often when I was a little kid and still living with my parents near the German border. Although crossing escalators with mirrors on the sides are also common in other department stores, I still associate a view like this with a visit to Kaufhof. So thanks for bringing back these memories! I like the way you played with the geometry and reflections. The result is a very attractive graphic picture.

Very unusual and abstract shot; I thought it was the ceiling at first. Lots of patterns, angles and lines.

Hi Hermann,
I like all kinds of escalator-pictures. They often are so photogenic and so difficult to photograph. Up till now I didn’t succeed in taking a appropriate photo of it, but I will continue to try.

Yeah!!!! Fantastic!! I've been attracted to escalators a fair bit lately! This one is great for all those intersecting lines, games with mirrors and the wonderful cut throughs to lower levels - brilliant to catch the people at different levels too - great shot - love it!

Hallo Hermann,
Escalators, mirrors and lights. It takes some 'photographer's eye' to produce such a good result from something so simple!
Superb graphical concept and spot on exposure.
Very well done, bravo!!
